حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَارِقِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ صَلاَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Narrado por Muttalib

El Profeta (صلى الله عليه وسلم) dijo: La oración debe ofrecerse en dos rak'as; y debes recitar el tashahhud al final de dos rak'as, y expresar tu angustia y humildad y levantar tus manos y decir rezando: Oh Allah, Oh Allah. El que no lo hace, no ofrece una oración perfecta.

Se le preguntó a Abu Dawud acerca de ofrecer oraciones por la noche en dos rak'as. Dijo: "Pueden ser dos si quieres y cuatro si quieres".
