حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَائِمًا فَمَا تَرَكَ شَيْئًا يَكُونُ فِي مَقَامِهِ ذَلِكَ إِلَى قِيَامِ السَّاعَةِ إِلاَّ حَدَّثَهُ حَفِظَهُ مَنْ حَفِظَهُ وَنَسِيَهُ مَنْ نَسِيَهُ قَدْ عَلِمَهُ أَصْحَابُهُ هَؤُلاَءِ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَكُونُ مِنْهُ الشَّىْءُ فَأَذْكُرُهُ كَمَا يَذْكُرُ الرَّجُلُ وَجْهَ الرَّجُلِ إِذَا غَابَ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ إِذَا رَآهُ عَرَفَهُ ‏.‏

Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Mas’ud

Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Le moulin de l’Islam tournera jusqu’à l’an trente-cinq, ou trente-six, ou trente-sept ; Alors, s’ils périssent, ils auront suivi le chemin de ceux qui ont péri avant eux, mais si leur religion est maintenue, elle sera maintenue pendant soixante-dix ans. Je lui demandai : « Cela signifie-t-il soixante-dix ans qui restent ou soixante-dix ans qui s’écoulent ? » Il répondit : « Cela signifie (soixante-dix ans) qui sont passés.

Abou Dawud a dit : « Ceux qui ont enregistré Khirash, le nom d’un narrateur, ont tort. (Le nom correct est Hirash)
