Texte arabe du hadith
وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال‏:‏ كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا سافر فأقبل الليل قال‏:‏ ‏"‏ يا أرض ، ربي وربك الله، أعوذ بالله من شرك وشر ما فيك ، وشر ما خلق فيك، وشر ما يدب عليك أعوذ بالله من شر أسد وأسود، ومن الحية والعقرب، ومن ساكن البلد، ومن والد وما ولد‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه أبو داود‏)‏‏)‏‏ والأسود‏ ‏‏:‏ الشخص، قال الخطابي‏:‏ و‏ ‏ساكن البلد‏ ‏‏:‏ هم الجن الذين هم سكان الأرض ‏.‏ قال‏:‏ والبلد من الأرض‏:‏ ما كان مأوى الحيوان، وإن لم يكن فيه بناء ومنازل ‏.‏ قال‏:‏ ويحتمل أن المراد ‏ ‏ بالوالد‏ ‏ ‏:‏ إبليس ‏ ‏وماولد‏ ‏ ‏:‏ الشياطين
Traduction
Ibn 'Umar (qu’Allah l’agrée) a rapporté

Chaque fois que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) entreprenait un voyage, il disait à la tombée de la nuit : « Ya ardu, Rabbi wa Rabbuk-illahu, a’udhu billahi min sharriki wa sharri ma fiki, wa sharri ma khuliqa fiki, wa sharri ma yadibbu 'alaiki ; a’udhu billahi min charri asadin wa aswadin, wa minal-hayyati wal-'aqrabi, wa min sakinil-baladi, wa min walidin wa ma walad [Ô terre, mon Rubb et ton Rubb est Allah, je cherche refuge en Lui contre tes maux, les maux de ce que tu contiens, les maux de ce qui a été créé en toi, et les maux de ce qui marche sur toi. Je cherche refuge auprès d’Allah contre les lions, les serpents noirs, les scorpions et les habitants du lieu, ainsi que contre le parent (c’est-à-dire Satan) et sa progéniture qui habitent une colonie (c’est-à-dire les aides d’entre les démons)].
