حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَنْبَأَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، وَعُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ وَقَدْ بَلَغَ بِهِ أَبِي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ فَاتَهُ شَيْءٌ مِنْ وِرْدِهِ أَوْ قَالَ مِنْ جُزْئِهِ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ فَقَرَأَهُ مَا بَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ إِلَى الظُّهْرِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَرَأَهُ مِنْ لَيْلَتِهِ.
Attab — c’est-à-dire Ibn Ziyad — nous a rapporté : Abd Allah — c’est-à-dire Ibn al-Mubarak — nous a rapporté : Yunus nous a informés, d’après al-Zuhri, d’après al-Sa’ib ibn Yazid et Ubayd Allah ibn Abd Allah ibn Utba, d’après Abd al-Rahman ibn Abd, d’après Umar ibn al-Khattab — qu’Allah l’agrée. Abd Allah précise que son père attribuait ce propos au Prophète ﷺ : « Celui qui manque une partie de sa récitation habituelle — ou de sa portion de prière nocturne — puis la récite entre la prière du Fajr et celle du Dhuhr, c’est comme s’il l’avait récitée durant la nuit. »
